How to Fish achievements guide: all 31
Every achievement on Steam's global list, with the exact wording and how rare each one is, plus what the developer has changed about them.
Steam lists 31 achievements, confirmed on its global achievements page on October 8, 2026. The rarest are Bean (finish within 1 hour, 3.1% of players), Fishipedia (3.5%), Handyman (4.1%) and Hobin Rood (5.3%). The Islet Update added three: Bilingual, Money in a bottle and Hobin Rood.

Names and descriptions are as Steam shows them. The percentages are the share of all players who have unlocked each one on October 8, 2026 and will keep changing. The list is sorted from most to least common.

New in the Islet Update (1.1.0)
The 1.1.0 notes say only "Added new achievements". Steam's list shows which three they are: Bilingual (earn your first euro), Money in a bottle (find money in a bottle) and Hobin Rood (kill a creature with an arrow). That also confirms from Steam itself that euros, a money-in-a-bottle item and an arrow weapon exist. How players say you get them is on How to get euros and the bow.

The description is "Finish the game within 1 hour", and 3.1% of players had it, the lowest on the list. The route changed early: patch 1.0.5 fixed a bug that let you travel to any island without unlocking it, with the note "sorry speedrunners". Players still report finishing in under an hour by following the unlock order, so it is possible, but you cannot skip the quests. See the map page. We do not describe save-file editing, because it can corrupt your save and the developer does not support it.

Patch 1.0.4 fixed the achievement to kill the final boss with bare hands so that it unlocks for everyone, which settles an earlier dispute about co-op credit. Patch 1.0.12 also fixed explosives not damaging the final boss when it lands on its tail, which matters if you wear it down with dynamite before the punches. It is the third rarest achievement at 4.1%.

Both come from the in-game Fishipedia. Fishipedia (all drip creatures) had a bug: before patch 1.0.5 it would not unlock until you found one more drip creature, so you effectively needed all plus one. That was fixed. Patch 1.1.3 then made the Fishipedia show the bait for any creature you have killed once, which makes the hunt faster. See drip creatures and the fish finder.
