About this site: an independent field guide
Straight answers, linked sources and a little less guesswork.
How to Fish Field Guide is an independent fan-made information site. It is not affiliated with Dazed Games or Valve.
How we check information
We prioritise official store information and developer announcements. Community strategies are labelled and linked to the original Steam discussion or Steam guide. A source-check date is not a claim of an in-game test. We do not invent authors or claim firsthand experience.
What the evidence labels mean
- Official store / Developer / Developer website: information published by Valve's store page or by Dazed Games.
- Community report: a Steam discussion or Steam Community guide written by a player. We say which version it was written on when it says so.
- Not verified by us in game: a box on a page listing what we could not confirm. These are open to correction.
We link Steam-hosted community posts, not third-party guide sites, and we do not copy from them. If a claim appears in only one place, we say so.
What we do not assume
An unannounced port is not a confirmed cancellation. An unverified hour count is not a completion estimate. Regional prices are dated snapshots. A patch note that says "new" is not a list of what is new.
Images and attribution
Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. This version uses its own interface graphics and does not load third-party game artwork.
Corrections
If a page is wrong for your game version, tell us with your version number and a screenshot or link. We update the review date when we re-check a page.
